Uganda’s dynamic duo, Radio and Weasel are set to share their All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) experience with fans online. Crowned the Best Africa Reggae 2014 winners, Radio and Weasel will interact with fans in a tweet chat slated for Tuesday evening.
Radio and Weasel, who have showed excitement about the tweet chat, are expected to share their views on the benefits, values, impacts of AFRIMA Awards and also encourage other African music artistes to apply for the ongoing AFRIMA 3.0 entry submissions which are set to close on July 30th.
In partnership with the African Union Commission, AFRIMA is a project developed to celebrate, reward and showcase the rich musical culture of Africa, stimulate conversations among Africans and between Africa and the rest of the world about the great potentials and values of African culture and artistic heritage, for the purpose of creating jobs, reducing poverty, and calling attention of world leaders to Africa as well as promoting the positive image of Africa to the world.
