Talking about the New Year 2020 and the latest kids on the block taking over Uganda’s music industry at fast speed, it will be an offence not to talk about the new female urban contemporary music super star- Zuena Kress.

She recently dropped her new music video titled ‘’I Knew’’, in which she portrays in-depth love affection for her boy lover after years of fantasying upon him as she quotes in some of the lyrics in the song. She further in the song adds that it was a must for the two love birds to be together in native Luganda translated as ‘’Kitekwa Butekwa’’, where she continues revealing to her lover of how she knew he would fall for her even after meeting a million other beautiful girls insisting that they were meant for each other as God the creator opted them to be together from time in memorial.

The long waited music video shot in a supreme eco-environment by Film and Video producer Zyga of Zyga Phix production house, one of the most celebrated video producers of the decade will be taking over television airwaves in Uganda by storm.

Prophets, Pastors Report Huge Losses as Uganda Corona Virus Shutdown Comes to Bite

Known for being seers, Mr. Futures, Prophets have Pastors have declared operating losses following a temporary halt to their businesses.

One Prophet while meeting Jesus over the weekend complained that he did not see this coming and that Jesus should perform a miracle.

President Museveni while addressing the national on Corona Virus said;

Once we deal with the concentrations in the Educational Institutions, the next concentrations that we must deal with are the religious gatherings: prayers in Churches, in Mosques, open air prayers and services on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. In the interests of our people’s health, these should be suspended for a month with immediate effect.
Why with immediate effect? The answer is, a question of logic: “What if a person that is not yet infected today with the virus is infected tomorrow, Thursday the 19th of March, 2020, was to be infected in the last Service that had been called “to pray for the last time?” How would God forgive us and how would we forgive ourselves?”
When it comes to health, it is better to be a coward and be on the side of caution. If there is no danger after one month, that will be good. If there was danger, we would have avoided it. The Prayers will continue but in homes. The Religious leaders can use the TVs, Radios stations to continue preaching. His Holiness, Pope Francis, as usual set a good example of enlightenment on this by abandoning his customary preaching in St. Peters’ Square and is instead, using the TV.

How A Young Man Reconciled Kirumira and Sudhir?

In the aftermath of Bank of Uganda taking over Crane Bank, there was a rift between two of Uganda’s richest men. This rift would also go on to mark the collapse of the Kwagalana group. These two rich men were none other than Godfrey Kirumira and Sudhir Ruparelia.

At the time, it was becoming evident that Sudhir would end up in Luzira prison. Many of his friends would immediately begin to distance themselves from him as they saw his as some kind of plague at the time. “Sudhir was being isolated, no one wanted to even be pictured with him. BOU at the time had vowed to pursue him to the last property he owned in town,” says our source.

At the time, there were series of meetings that took place with the President and other parties. It is in this meetings that Sudhir would find the last lifeline on which to hang. It was too late to save the bank but it became clear after this meetings that Sudhir would not step in Luzira as many had earlier thought.

Kirumira who used to be a regular at Sudhir’s kabira country club became very absent. He used to go to Kabira every morning to read newspapers. He shifted to Africanna. Sources within Sudhir’s camp interpreted this as the final cut.

These strains went across to the children. The two best friends, Gideon and Rajiv each became rare in the other’s life. It is said that Rajiv and father went on a blocking spree. They were keeping their circle smaller. Around the same time, they would go on to fall out with the Chimpreports boss, Giles Muhame.

But how did Kirumira make it back to the good books of Sudhir? It is said, for this to be possible, it took the diplomatic brokering of a young man in this city.

“There is a young man who appears to have no power in this city. But it is him who singlehandedly brought the two back to talking terms. He even ensured that Gideon Kirumira became a regular at the Rajiv rally events. This young man, a lover of the skirt would then walk to Sudhir and advise him to begin rebuilding for the future. He told Sudhir how every friendship goes through strains. Both camps had tried to outfist each other. One camp thought the other wanted them implicated for the Kasiwukira murder. The other thought it had collaborated with the mafia to take Crane bank. It was time for the two camps to accept that something went wrong.

The cheerleaders in both camps were partly responsible for the rift. “You know the cheerleaders will spread all sorts of rumours as long as that means Sudhir or Kirumira would keep them even closer,” our source tells us.

With the reunion of the two rich men, could it imply the rebirth of the Kwagalana family? We shall return with a full story of how beef killed Kwagalana and how Uganda’s rich men are baying for each other’s collapse and why Forbes dropped Uganda from its assessments.

How 5G can help the fight against Coronavirus-Deloitte

By Staff Writer

5G can enhance the effectiveness of pandemic prevention and treatment, and drive the digital transformation of healthcare systems in response to major public emergencies, such as the current pandemic of COVID-19, a newly released Deloitte report suggests.

The white paper titled, “Combating COVID-19 with 5G: Opportunities to improve public health systems,” was produced in collaboration with Huawei. During the outbreak in China, telecommunications operators collaborated with Huawei to rapidly set up a specific 5G network dedicated to COVID-19 treatment hospitals.

The white paper analyses examples of COVID-19 control and treatment measures in China and identified challenges that face epidemic management in terms of monitoring, quarantine and treatment.

Amongst its findings, the whitepaper notes that the effectiveness of communication and data exchange has been essential in screening for infected individuals and controlling the outbreak. This by enabling thermal imaging, continuous remote monitoring and diagnoses during patient transfer.

The research also highlighted the need to build and upgrade public health emergency response mechanisms, through which governments are able to make right decisions promptly and allocate resources more effectively.

In this regard, 5G can also promote collaboration by enabling connectivity, maintaining effective communication among hospitals, and enable medical data and reference sharing between hospitals and scientific research institutions, especially “in the rapid increases in data volume and mounting demand for remote and HD-video based treatment” scenario.

In addition, the report indicates that the success of 5G applications in the public health domain could also inspire new business models in other sectors. It finds as a result of 5G features such as high speed connection, high reliability and low latency, the healthcare system has benefited from improved response times, patient monitoring, data collection and analytics, remote collaboration and resource allocation. It also sets an example for digitalised, data driven and Cloud-based innovative major public emergency response platforms.

Zuena gets backlash over Old Taxi park renovation

Bebe Cool’s wife, Zuena Kirema, seems to have rubbed some of her followers the wrong way when she made a suggestion about the old taxi park.

CORONAVIRUS TIP – Looking after yourself, your family & friends is important through these stressful times. WHO encourages everyone at home to do simple & fun physical activities to stay healthy & active Flexed biceps. Follow Ministry of Health Guidelines.

Following the presidential directive to halt all public means of transport over coronavirus, this morning, the old taxi park in downtown Kampala was empty. The usually busy transport hub had no activity at all something many had never seen.

After looking at the photos and videos, Zuena made an innocent suggestion to KCCA to swing into action and renovate the park since it will remain like decongested for the next 14 days.

KCCA now that the old taxi park is empty, don’t you think you should use this chance to renovate it?

They can use fewer people to avoid congestion hence to reduce the spread of corona & if need be they can camp there till they’re done.

Just thinking

Zuena Posted on her Facebook Page

Although some of her followers agreed with her, others were totally disappointed by Zuena’s suggestion calling her all sorts of names. Their major concern was the safety of the renovation team that KCCA would have to bring on board.

Petit responded; That would have been a good idea but I don’t think the constructors are immune to coronavirus which is the reason for the lockdown. We can’t put their lives at risk!! Those taxis can always be asked out temporarily so it can be worked on.

Rose added; Rest at home or rest in peace. How can u tell them to renovate when we are all supposed to stay indoors for our safety?

Immaculate said; Good idea, naye don’t you think the money that would be used to renovate the park can be more useful in the covid-19 fight. As of now, there may be more cases that are expected to come up. Just thinking.

Zuena was quick to defend her self. She said that a few people can be used to do this job because we don’t know how long we’ll be indoors. If it means that the team would have to start camping there for that long, so be it.

We will keep you posted.

Kylie Jenner continues to do her part during the coronavirus pandemic. The 22-year-old billionaire has donated $1 million dollars to help in the fight against the deadly virus sweeping the globe. The money, which she donated to her OB-GYN, will help fund the cost of hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields, and other protective gear. “I am speechless, my eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude,” Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi posted to Instagram on Wednesday. “I made a wish to the Universe to gather protective masks for our brave healthcare workers and today my dream came true.”

She added of Jenner, “One of my patients, a beautiful Living Angel just donated $1,000,000 to help us buy hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields, and other protective gear which we will have delivered directly to our first responders, as too many masks at hospitals are disappearing before making their way onto the faces of our front line heroes.” The doctor went on to say that she has “never felt more blessed to be a doctor.” “From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU @kyliejenner ❤️,” she wrote. “You are my hero. This generous donation will help save many precious lives. Our world is a better place with you in it. I love you so much. Thank you X a million.”

The Kylie Cosmetics founder responded to the post, thanking her doctor for her work. “i love you! and thank YOU for all the love and care you put into everything that you do!” she wrote. “you’re an angel on earth.” Jenner’s rep told Page Six, “I can confirm that she did make the donation. Dr. Aliabadi delivered Jenner’s daughter, Stormi, according to TMZ. Jenner has also been vocal about the importance of practicing social distancing after the Surgeon General asked for her help in spreading awareness. “The coronavirus is a real thing,” Jenner noted in an Instagram post made last week. “I listened to the Surgeon General this morning…he definitely encouraged me to come on here and talk to you guys.”

“Please stay inside. Practice social distancing, self-quarantine,” Jenner went on to note. “If you live with your parents, you don’t want to go home and get your parents sick. You might have it and not even know and be infecting other people. It’s serious and the only way that we’re gonna slow this down is if we do this because there is not a cure right now.”

Huddah to keep off social media, says coronavirus news making her paranoid

Kenyan socialite turned businesswoman Alhuddah Njoroge better known as Huddah Monroe has thrown in the towel and put social media on hold.

This after the Huddah Cosmetics CEO confessed to being disturbed by the continued reports of coronavirus spread across the globe.

Taking to her Instastory, the vocal social media personality admitted to taking the issue lightly but after seeing news on the lives lost and rapid spread, she had to change her view.

Huddah went on to explain that the news has gotten her even more paranoid.

“Leaving social media for a while. All these daily news is weighing so much on me and my spirit. At first, it looked like a joke. But now it’s really hitting home! And the more I see it: the more paranoid I get!” wrote Huddah.

In a separate post, Huddah urged netizens to stay indoors. The entrepreneur also encouraged that people use their time indoor to educate themselves and pray.

“Stay home. Stay prayed up! Stay educated. Keep a positive mindset. And hope for the best!

“God is the key. Sending positive vibes your way. This thing is hard on all of us: but let’s stay prayed up! Keep hope alive! Seek knowledge so you won’t get bored. Stop idle chatter!” Added Huddah.

This is not a joke!

The socialite is among several celebrities that have made use of their platforms to sensitize individuals on the seriousness of the Coronavirus.
Not too long ago, media personality Janet Mbugua brushed shoulders with a section of online users the wrong way after she aired her disappointment on twitter over worshippers that had chosen to attend church disregarding the government’s stay home directive.

“I’m sorry but Christians claiming they have to physically go to church and those welcoming ‘their flock’ amid all the warnings and directives, are hypocrites. Check yourself. Actually read The Word because I’m pretty sure God speaks about wisdom, honour and obedience throughout. SMH (shaking my head),” Janet tweeted.

Janet’s post did not sit well with a section of online users who lashed out at her for seemingly attacking Christians.

“Folks trying to justify large gatherings (it’s not just at church, by the way. Night clubs/ social areas too) aren’t thinking of others, only hearing their voices. And if priests live at the Church as their homes, as we’ve seen The Pope do, they can still isolate #noexcuses
“#CoronavirusForDummies- You are not bigger than anyone when it comes to #COVID19. The trolling, defending and excusing will only hurt you. Even a deputy governor isn’t above the law! Read, humble yourself and get educated. Stay at home! Unless absolutely necessary; for emergencies,” she wrote.

CBD Buying Guide: Get Your Money’s Worth On CBD Products

$

By Staff Writer

It is becoming an ever-current affair that the CBD oil industry is taking over the mainstream natural products industry.  this can be attributed to a vast array of products that are being produced by manufacturers to cater to a mixture of consumer requests and needs.  as such consumers are finding it ever more difficult to identify the correct product for themselves and therefore are being disenfranchised and disheartened when trying to purchase a CBD oil-based product.  Therefore when trying to identify CBD oil for sale this article will help in identifying a few key factors to consider when I operating towards purchasing CBD based products

Prices and ever-present factor amongst online stores

Due to the volatile nature of the industry and the competition that comes with it this has meant that consumers need to be so wary of the fact that prices do fluctuate on a daily if the not hourly occurrence. Therefore utilizing price comparison websites and insider knowledge from forums this can help consumers find an easier and more satisfying way of purchasing products and knowing that they have not been ripped off by the CBD oil suppliers.  highly suggest that you speak to someone who is knowledgeable about the industry first before purchasing any products as it will be best to advise you on what is good value for money and what is not.

The quality of the product  and how to differentiate

In a market where competition is fierce it can be troubling to choose between products which tend to be so similar in terms of the actual product and also the branding.  therefore the only thing to separate the CBD products are either the niche market they are in or perhaps the manufacturing processes that they have taken place. Therefore, I would tend to recommend going for organic CBD products as you know that no pesticides have been used to speed up the growth process of the plants and that all the chemicals contained within the products are naturally occurring.  Although organic CBD all products tend to cost slightly more than regular CBD oil or other CBD products this definitely worth the value for money in terms of knowing exactly what is in the product and that it is safe from contaminants.

 Gaining knowledge from others

In an industry which is right with myths and legends it is important to make sure that you’re up to date and knowledgeable about the industry and the products that you’re consuming, therefore, CBD oil-based forums are great place to find more knowledge about products that you wish to try and any upcoming innovative ideas that are being put forward by a manufacturer’s. This ensures that you are not consuming a product that is inferior to another and also can be a great place to ensure that you receive the value for money in terms of the product you are purchasing.  if I was wanting to learn out more about the CBD oil industry this is exactly the place to start as many forums have introductory pages for those who are unsure about the industry

Forget the beef that APass and Bebe Cool have had for a long time. They are now best buds. The two who outed a new song out called Corona Distance along with other artistes like Fik Fameica, Vinka, Fresh Daddy and Fresh Kid have nothing but respect for each other at least in the eyes of APass.

The Nkwagala singer came out this evening to let fans know that he has nothing but respect for the Gagamel boss.

I respect Bebe Cool because he is my elder and I give him all the honour he deserves. He deals with life the way he wants, I deal with it my way. I see things different but I respect him a lot and no one should ever doubt that.

APASS BAGONZA
APASS AND BEBE COOL

Two years ago, APass and Bebe Cool were fighting each other online with Bebe Cool calling APass a goat, something that he cleverly turned in his favour by saying that to him goat means Greatest of all time. APass today said that he may not conform to Bebe Cool’s ways and beliefs but he respects him a lot.

I may not conform to what you do or say but I will still respect you. I can disengage with the things that you do that are not right but that will not take away my respect for you.

APASS BAGONZA

On working with Bebe Cool APass said;

‘When Bobi has a project I go and do it, same for Bebe Cool because these people inspired me to get where I am today. And by working with them and respecting them is pivotal to me inspiring other people the way they inspired me.’

His advice to young people on respect is that they need to have a positive attitude present themselves well and respect everyone to get far.

Young people need to be respectful. When you do this, other people will then see how you treat yourself and them and this will open up many doors for you.

APASS BAGONZA

Remember to always wash your hands, don’t touch your face, sneeze and cough responsibly.
