Brymo

While most people are not sure whether they are going to heaven or hell, popular Nigerian singer Brymo appears to be certain of where his destiny lies.

The “Prick No Get Shoulder” singer Brymo has made a rather ridiculous statement on Twitter. It’s difficult to ascertain the depths of his statement when he tweeted he will be “going straight to hell” when he eventually dies. He added that’s where all good people go.

Olawale Ashimi aka Brymo tweeted: “When I die I am going straight to hell, its where all the good people go.”

His fans were on hand to drag the singer because of his ridiculous tweet.

8 Things every woman should try in bed

coup 1

Some sex tips are for special-occasion sex – for those times when you want to shake things up a little. Whether you feel like your sex life is lagging or just feel like doing something new, the following eight tips are things we think every woman should try at least once in bed. Why? Because you never know, you might just love your newfound knowledge.

1. Be selfish in bed

Sometimes you need to put your pleasure first, ask for what you want and not worry about whether he’s having as good a time. Yes, it should be a balance, but if you’re always concerned about him, you won’t focus on you and may never discover what you like.

2. Lube it up

Who knew one small tube could revolutionise your sex life? Just a little bit of quality lube can mean the difference between discomfort and ecstasy. There are plenty of factors that can affect a woman’s natural lubrication – dehydration, antihistamines, the Pill, stress, antidepressants, pregnancy and even breastfeeding; but you don’t have to need it to enjoy it. Adding a lubricant to your usual routine can intensify pleasure, enhance sensitivity, prolong activity, help prevent condoms from splitting and feel sensuous and stimulating.

3. Wear something seductive

Wearing a new set of underwear can really help boost confidence in the bedroom. It gives you a chance to get into your zone and detach from everyday, normal life. But, just make sure that what you’re wearing is for both of you – feeling itchy and uncomfortable isn’t going to make for memorable sex. If lingerie isn’t your thing, try a pair of stilettos or red-hot lipstick, instead. It’s like the sexual equivalent of a business suit.

4. Target your PS-spot

Introducing your PS-spot – the area directly opposite the G-spot, inside the vaginal canal. ‘PS’ stands for ‘perineal sponge’, a nerve-rich erectile tissue that swells during arousal and may appreciate a little manual stimulation. If your man can be a tad heavy-handed with your clitoris, this is the perfect alternative. One reader tells us, “My boyfriend stimulated my PS-spot with his fingers during oral sex; it was a seriously intense experience for both of us.”

5. Watch porn with a partner

Just as sex toys shouldn’t have to be a solo activity, adult films can be a couples’ thing too. Take the time to find something you both like – you’ll be surprised at how fun this can be.

6. Practice delayed gratification

It’s easy for things to end up cosy rather than steamy with a long-term partner. Take yourself back to the early days of getting together like teenagers and then going out for the evening before having sex. A delay will only build the suspense.

7. Dabble in domination and submission

No dungeon required, we promise. Instead of surprising your partner with a pair of handcuffs (though feel free if that’s your thing), start your adventure in domination and submission gently. Run the idea by your partner first and then invest in a good how-to book to get going.

8. Stop chasing the orgasm

When it’s not happening, the orgasm pressure can start to mount which makes everyone uncomfortable and tense. If it then does, it can feel a bit souless after being chased so much. Sometimes you just have to accept it may not be your or their nights, and that’s fine – concentrate on just enjoying the ride. You never know, being more relaxed may help you to be pleasantly surprised at the end of it.

6 Things NOT to do in bed (ever)

couple-8

Here are six  things you should NOT do in bed (ever).

1. Criticise

Nothing can deflate the moment like a sexual put-down. If he’s doing something you don’t like, try saying, “I’d love it if you…” instead.

2. Talk about your work, ex, or mother in bed

Sounds obvious, but it’s so easy to start downloading the minute you get into bed. Sex is escapism, so pillow talk should avoid the mundane or touchy.

3. Fake orgasm

You’ll have to keep up the ruse and he’ll never learn what works for you.

4. Be wishy-washy

When your partner whispers, “How do you want it?” don’t say, “I don’t mind, whatever.” Know what you do and don’t want.

5. Try to keep up with the Joneses

It’s great to get tips from your friends, but don’t let it make you feel bad about your sex liRe.

6. Get ‘ready’ for sex

Sure, it’s nice to clean your teeth and shower before sex but sometimes – just go with the flow – hairy legs and all!

8 Health checks every woman should have

$

sexy-black-womanHealth checks are something many people forget but are vitally important. In fact, they could save your life. As well as packing your diary with nice appointments such as manicures and cinema dates, we should all be regularly inputting doctors appointments to get our MOTs. Even if it’s just to check the odd freckle or check that your gut is functioning as it should – you can never be too cautious. Here are 8 health checks every women should have and how often.

Why? “High cholesterol can be genetic, so if you have a family history you need to be tested,” says Dr Hicks. High cholesterol raises the risk of heart disease, heart attacks and strokes. Obvious risk factors are smoking, being overweight etc, but plenty of slim/fit young people have
high cholesterol and no symptoms, so it’s a good idea to get tested.

How often? Every five years.

Why? “If you have symptoms of coeliac disease – an intolerance to gluten
– like tiredness, losing weight or IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), ask your GP for a blood test,” says Dr Brewer. “If you have an immediate family member with coeliac disease, ask for a test even without symptoms.”

How often? Once – if diagnosed you’ll have to eat
a gluten-free diet for life.

Why? “Smears detect early changes in cervical cells which, if left untreated, might progress to cervical cancer,” says GP Dr Sarah Brewer. “Early detection prevents around 75% of cervical cancers.”

How often?
“Between 25 and 49, you’ll be invited for a smear every three years,” says Dr Brewer. If you’re under 25 or between smears, see your GP if you experience pain during sex, unpleasant discharge or bleeding between periods or after sex. The middle of your cycle (14 days after the start of your period) is the best time to schedule it.

Why? “Early detection can stop a changing mole becoming melanoma,” says Caoimhe Scully from The Mole Clinic.

How often? “Self-check every three months. Follow the ABC guide: A for asymmetrical (it shouldn’t be), B for border (it shouldn’t be jagged), C for colour (any changes?), D for diameter (bigger than 7mm?) and E for Evolving (has it changed?). If so, see your GP.

Why? “If you have symptoms including frequently passing urine and feeling thirsty, recurrent thrush, losing weight for no reason and tiredness, ask your GP for
a urine test,” says Dr Hicks.

How often? You can develop diabetes at any time, but you’ll usually get symptoms, so you only really need to get tested if you experience any of the above. Take advice from your GP if you’re worried.

Why? “As well as smears, sexually active women should also be screened for STIs,” says GP Dr Rob Hicks.

How often? “If you’re seeing lots of people or not practising safe sex, go every month. If you’re in a monogamous relationship, both get checked at the start of the relationship.” If you notice any genital itching, burning, unusual discharge, discomfort, pressure in the abdomen or flu-like symptoms or fever that doesn’t get better, still speak to your GP.

Why? “Get used to feeling your breasts regularly, as it’s important to know what your breasts feel like at different times – some women are lumpy before their period, others after it,” says Dr Hicks.

How often? Frequently. “Feel your breasts in the shower and know what’s normal for you. As well as a lump, look out for puckering or dimpling of the skin, bleeding from the nipple, a red patch or rash around the nipple that doesn’t heal, nipple discharge or pain in the breast.”

Why? “It’s never too early to check for high blood pressure,” says Dr Hicks. “Especially if you’re overweight, have a family history or drink a lot of alcohol.”

How often? “Every five years. Your pharmacist or GP will do it.” You should also see your GP if you regularly feel faint, dizzy, have blurred vision, nausea or unsteadiness – all can be signs of low blood pressure.

5 Ways to know for sure if it is LUST or LOVE

$
0
0

black-coupleWhen the stars align — or when Tinder works in your favor — a new bae will enter your life, bringing on a whole new slew of ups and downs. But will it be lust (that deep craving for sex or for another individual) or love (a true, genuine connection and caring for another)?

Though these two ideas overlap, they are far from one in the same, so we’re breaking it down once and for all.

1. Is it only about sex?

Of course, having chemistry in the bedroom is of the utmost importance, but an obsession or fixation on sex can be detrimental. After time, you and your partner will get bored, or always be looking for the next best thing in bed.

2. Do you keep secrets?

A couple in love has no walls, boundaries or secrets. Ofentimes, a couple in lust holds back their true self.

3. Do you have a deep, lasting friendship?

If so, you may be well on your way to loving your partner. A relationship built on a foundation without frienship has little to fall back on.

4. Do you often feel jealous or needy?

A couple in love is one that trusts one another, regardless of the situation. A couple in lust, who looks only to sex, often finds reasons to be jealous of others’ wandering eyes.

5. Do you expect perfection from your partner?

Being in love means being accepting of every flaw, imperfection and otherwise from your partner. Those in lust, however, often expect them to look perfect, perform perfect, and act perfect around friends and family for the relationship to appear good.

Third week of the month, we give the best smartphone deals of January from Kilimall Uganda.

Working directly with global suppliers, Kilimall enables shoppers to buy smartphones directly from various markets across the world through their Global Shopping Service. Kilimall takes orders from shoppers, sources them from pre-qualified merchants then delivers directly to it’s customers. As a matter of fact, right now Kilimall Uganda is the best online marketplace in Uganda. In a day they can have over 100-300 sales made.

So, if you love a large screen smartphone with awesome specs and at afford prices from Kilimall Uganda, then you have to check out our list:

iphone 7

iPhone 7

The iPhone 7 is the latest flaghship of Apple, and this year, we expect to see the iPhone 8. It’s so rear to find iPhones sold in Uganda, most people tend to just order from online stores such as Ebay, Amazon, Aliexpress, Alibaba, to name a few, so as they are delivered to them. One or two problems when it comes to this, is that you might order for an iPhone that isn’t unlocked for it to be used with the existing carriers here in Uganda, or it’s priced highly and also the delivery takes long. For instance the iPhone 7 4.7-Inch variant that we decided to look at; in the Apple store, it’s priced at $649 with an addition of like $100 to be delivered to Uganda, Amazon fans can get one between $730-$800 but the company doesn’t ship products to Uganda (you need someone to bring it for you), Aliexpres it’s available at $809 and the estimated delivery time is 25-36 days at free shipping, Ebay is at $1190 shipping fee inclusive, so all that is a lot to process.

Kilimall Uganda, now makes it easy for you. The store has the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in all variants, but we decided to go with the iPhone 4.7-Inch variant since it has a good deal this month. They have the Rose Gold and Gold priced at 3,107,300 UGX at 14% off discount compared to other variants.

Huawei Y3II

The Huawei Y3II is an entry-level smartphone for the Huawei Y-series generation of smartphones which was launched on July 13th, 2016 in Uganda, and made available countrywide at all Huawei affiliated dealer shops and distributors, Kilimall Uganda inclusive. It’s priced between 271,500 to 300,000 UGX at Kilimall Uganda and only available in a white and black color variant, given at a 14% discount and for every buy you make, you’re given a free USB LED Lamp (pretty awesome!). The same phone costs $162 (roughly 582,000 UGX) shipping fee inclusive on Ebay.

The phone features a 4.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 1GB RAM including 8GB internal memory that can further be expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD card and powered by a quad-core processor, 5MP rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera, removable 2100mAh Li-Po battery with an Ultra Power Saving mode if your battery is really running low, and interestingly, small as it is, supports 4G network, grants a facility of Wi-Fi with a built in function of Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB of v2.0.

Infinix Hot 4

The Infinix Hot 4 is the successor of the Hot 3, although the Hot 3 isn’t available in Uganda. Thus, last year saw Kilimall Uganda and Infinix Moblies partnered to launch the Infinix Hot 4 for the first time in Uganda during their Black Friday event; one of the biggest online shopping events ever in the world.

Many have acquired this phablet and I have to say, it’s really a hot deal on Kilimall Uganda.

The Hot 4 priced at 359,000 UGX with a 10% off discount and 1 year warrant features a 5.5-Inch Super AMOLED HD screen, Android 6.0 Marshmallow with XOS Software, 8MP/5MP rear and front cameras respectively, Finger Print Scan, 2G and 3G connectivity capablities, MediaTek 6580 quad-core processor, RAM of 2GB, In-built memory storage of 16GB which is expandable up to 32GB, all this backed on a 4000mAh Li-Po Battery that can take you at least for 32 hours and 24 hours if you’re a social media addict, a gamer or you love watching and live streaming video/movies/music.

The phone is only available in Gold and Black color variants.

Infinix Hot 4 Lite

This 5.5-Inch phablet is the newest flaship of the Infinix mobiles. The Infinix Hot 4 Lite is the successor of the Hot 4; which was launched last year in November along side the Infinix Note 3. The smartphone is priced at 319,000 UGX and comes with a 1 year warranty (This is a good deal since most of the smartphones bought these days don’t have warranties or don’t have warranties of that long).

The phablet features: 5.5-Inch HD screen display with 12 ultra-bright backlight LEDs, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM with and expandable slot of 32GB microSD card, 8MP and 5MP rear and front cameras respectively which isn’t really bad since it’s a mid-range smartphone, a non-removable 4000mAh Li-Po battery which can last for 2 and half days if fully charged, running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with XOS Software which is an Infinix exclusive customized operating system based on Android M, and finally, it’s available in Gold, Black, and Red color variants. In terms of connectivity, the Infinix Hot 4 Lite comes with both 2G and 3G LTE connectivity, and also supports Wi-Fi Tethering and Bluetooth capabilities.

Tecno L8 Plus

Tecno is one other company with some awesome smartphones. The Tecno L8 Plus is a mid-range smartphone, that one can really upgrade or degrade to. It has a good deal at Kilimall Uganda at only 358,000 UGX with a 7% discount off.

Available in Black, Grey, and Gold, this Dual Mini SIM 5.5-Inch display screen smartphone spots a 16GB internal storage with an expandable slot of up to 128GB microSD card, 2GB of RAM, 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 CPU, and MediaTek MT6572 Chipset, Mali-400 GPU processors, 8MP rear camera with can take up to 3264 x 2448-pixel pictures, 2MP front camera takes up to 1600 x 1200-pixel pictures, backed on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and running on a 5050mAh Li-Ion battery that can take you up to 72 hours on a fully charge.

In terms of connectivity, the phablet supports 2G and 3G capabilities, Wi-Fi (WIFI hotspot, Wi-Fi direct), Bluetooth version v4.0, GPS, and MicroUSB version v2.0.

The additional flight will increase the number of scheduled Emirates flights between the two cities to 21 a week and give customers greater flexibility and choice when planning their travel.

It also underscores Emirates’ commitment to Kenya and confidence in the route, which has grown to become one of the airline’s busiest routes in Africa since it first launched services to the country in October 1995.

As with its other two daily flights between Dubai and Nairobi, Emirates will also operate its popular Boeing 777-300ER in a three class configuration. The aircraft will have eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 304 spacious seats in Economy Class.

Flight EK717 will become the first of the three daily departures from Dubai and leave at 0140hrs and arrive in Nairobi at 0540hrs, enabling customers arriving on Emirates’ flights from India, the UK and many European countries such as France, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Netherlands and Italy to connect to the Nairobi flight within three hours. The return flight EK718 is also conveniently timed and will depart Nairobi at 0710hrs and land in Dubai at 1315hrs, ahead of Emirates’ afternoon European flights and its fourth daily flight to New York, a popular destination for Kenyan travellers.

Emirates hub, Dubai International Airport, offers a modern, convenient and comfortable transit to connect to flights across the airline’s worldwide network, with many key destinations having multiple departures and being served by the airline’s iconic double decker A380 aircraft.

Michael Jackson

Paris Jackson has claimed her superstar father was murdered and that “everybody in the family knows it”.

The 18-year-old daughter of the late singer also revealed she tried to kill herself multiple times after being raped when she was 14.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Paris said she believed her late father’s death was a “set-up” – and even he thought people were “out to get him”.

She said: “He would drop hints about people being out to get him. And at some point he was like, ‘They’re gonna kill me one day.'”

Asked why she believes Jackson was murdered, she said: “Because it’s obvious. All arrows point to that.

“It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like b*******, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it.

“It was a set-up. It was b*******.”

Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for providing him with the anesthetic drug propofol which led to his death.

But Paris believes this conviction did not go far enough.

The model and actress went on to reveal for the first time publicly that she was sexually assaulted by a much older “complete stranger”.

She added: “I don’t wanna give too many details.

“But it was not a good experience at all, and it was really hard for me, and, at the time, I didn’t tell anybody.”

Gospel singer Alex Apoko, better known as Ringtone, could be walking down the aisle with Ray C, if its God’s will that they settle down together.

The ‘Talanta’ singer had an opportunity to meet with the Tanzanian songstress in December last year thanks to rapper AY.

According to reports, the two had a very cordial meeting and Ray C informed him that she was on her way to full recovery from drug addiction.

When asked whether he still wants to marry her as he had expressed interest weeks after the Mama Nitilie singer announced that she wanted a husband, Ringtone said he is waiting for God to direct him.

“We said nothing serious to each other though. I am single and praying god blesses me with a worthy life partner. Ray c too is not seeing anyone currently. But I pray she finds a good partner in Tanzania. But, well it could be me. But for now God has not directed me to be with Ray C,” said ringtone as quoted by eDaily.

Big Brother Naija

Days after the Nigerian government ordered a probe into why popular reality show Big Brother Nigeria is holding in South Africa, Multichoice, the show’s organizers have finally revealed their reason for doing so.

This is coming after a lot of Nigerians have shown their displeasure at having a show titled Big Brother Nigeria being shot in another country.

According to a statement released by the organization and published on Vanguard, the main reason for their decision is simply because they have a fully equipped house in South Africa.

“‎We have a fully equipped house in South Africa, which is used for the Big Brother shows. This means that we are able to achieve high production values whilst meeting tight timelines and ensuring the show comes to our viewers on time as planned, and with the same globally renowned quality. The house has played host to other Big Brother countries including; the general Big Brother Africa, Mozambique, Angola and now Nigeria,’’ the statement quoted Multichoice Public Relations Officer Caroline Oghuma as saying.

6 Things to Stop Now if You Want a Successful Relationship

$
0
0

Uganda dating, Sex life, Sex, Relationships

Ready for a relationship that will last? Here are six things you need to QUIT first!

1. Quit thinking it WON’T last. Going into a relationship thinking it’s doomed means only one thing – it is. Every time things aren’t perfect you’ll feel validated. “See? I knew it. We didn’t have a chance.” If you honestly believe relationships will never stand the test of time then the reality is you will sabotage each one to ensure that you are right. You will test each partner to see how much of your bad behavior they can tolerate before finally leaving you as you yell, “I knew you’d never stay” to a slamming door. If this is you–don’t date until you’ve figured this out.

2. Quit playing games. You’re mad. Or sad. Or hurt. Your partner asks, “What’s wrong?” And you say, “nothing.” Or yell about something else entirely later that evening. Stupid, childish, relationship-killing games. Eventually people keep score. Get even. Withdraw affection. Stop trying to even find an answer. Instead? Talk to each other! Explain. Listen. Find a solution. Take hurt and anger out of the equation because they are two of the most manipulative, reactive, and dangerous emotions to use while trying to communicate respectfully.

3. Quit thinking love is enough. In the long run, couples who make it through the good and bad still caring for each other have more going for them than just love. They truly LIKE their partner too. Liking can get you through a lot. Love is about attraction. Commitment. Attachment. But liking is about the joy. Respect. Fun. And contentment. If you can look at your partner and say you genuinely LIKE them. Want to be with them. Can talk to them. Can be FRIENDS with them – then you’ve got something to hold on to.

4.Quit being jealous. If they truly can’t be trusted – then why would you date them in the first place? And if they are trustworthy but you have a problem because of past betrayals, then get your own act together before you demolish someone else’s self-esteem with your insecurities and baggage. The flip side? If you find yourself in a relationship where the other person is jealous and you are doing nothing to warrant it? Walk away fast. Jealousy is NOT a sign of love. It’s possessive and demeaning. Long lasting relationships are anchored in trust.

5.Quit settling for less than you want. Relationships are based on equal balances of power. Meaning each brings some strengths to the table that the other one doesn’t have. When you accept someone who doesn’t meet (or even come close) to what you want – you’re settling. And settling never made anyone happy long term. Successful couples last because they both respect the value and worth of the other.

6.Quit thinking you need someone else in order to be happy. Go about your life. Stop waiting. Make friends. Be outstanding at work. Travel. Get in shape. Eat healthy. Be happy. The kind of person you are looking for doesn’t want an unhappy, miserable, lonely or desperate partner. The more you take care of yourself and become self-fulfilled the more people will want to be with you. Love you. Stay with you. It’s time to QUIT some behaviors that create dysfunctional partnerships and start attracting people who love you and want to be with you for all the right reasons.

15 Ways to Know If Your Partner Will Be Faithful

couple 8At the top of nearly every survey about what singles want in a partner is a person who is faithful, loyal, and trustworthy. In other words, singles in a committed relationship want someone who will not cheat on them.

Unfortunately, the reality of that desire often comes to a painful end as time goes on. Accurate statistics are hard to come by (because lots of people don’t want to admit to cheating), but researchers agree that 30 to 50 percent of men and 20 to 40 percent of women are unfaithful. Can you ever know for sure that your partner won’t cheat? No, because people and circumstances change over time. But you can look for specific personal qualities that offer a strong predisposition for faithfulness instead of unfaithfulness:

1. Your partner keeps his/her word in other areas. Reliability and trustworthiness across many aspects of life is a good indicator of faithfulness in your relationship.

2. The person likes your friends but keeps a respectful distance. Researchers found that nearly half (45 percent) of men and more than one-fourth (26 percent) of women are attracted to friends of their partners and are tempted to act on it.

3. Your partner does not keep secrets. Small secrets can blossom into big ones down the line.

4. He/she is aware of the danger zones. For instance, business trips are particularly troublesome: 36 percent of men and 13 percent of women said they gave in to temptation on a business trip.

5. Your partner has extinguished old flames. Many people look back on past relationships with fond memories, and some even maintain friendships with past loves. But wise individuals guard against too much interaction with an ex. That’s because 32 percent of women and 21 percent of men who admitted to acting on sexual temptation said it was with a former boyfriend/girlfriend.

6. Your love is invested in maintaining a friendship, as well as a romance, with you. Many individuals who get involved in affairs have been unable to deepen their love relationship beyond the early phase of infatuation and adrenaline rushes.

7. The individual maintains proper boundaries with coworkers. That’s because 60 percent of affairs start at work.

8. He/she feels appreciated. And this is where you can make a huge difference: More than 90 percent of men, and a similar number of women, said that feeling unappreciated and unwanted contributed strongly to their affairs.

9. The person is not a narcissist. People with narcissistic tendencies—self-absorbed, lacking empathy–are especially prone to straying.

10. Your partner knows the importance of a satisfying sex life. After all, 52 percent of people with unsatisfying sex lives said they would be tempted to cheat, while only 17 percent who were sexually satisfied said they would be tempted.

11. He/she doesn’t have an excessive need to be admired and liked. A need to have one’s ego boosted leads to inappropriate relationships from someone eager to flatter.

12. At the appropriate time, your partner will be completely open about finances. Since money disputes are the number one cause of divorce, psychologists have coined the term “financial infidelity,” in which individuals deceive their partner with hidden debt, secret credit cards, and undisclosed shopping sprees.

13. Your lover doesn’t flirt with anyone but you. Flirting or checking out other people is disrespectful to you, and disrespect is a step toward unfaithfulness.

14. The person is realistic, knowing no one is immune. One of the biggest dangers is thinking “it could never happen to me.” Approximately 69 percent of people who cheated never considered it a possibility before it happened.

15. Your partner’s strong emphasis is “we,” not “I.” Faithful partners recognize the value of preserving the relationship’s love and intimacy—and will take measures to protect the special bond they share.

5 Things you must do with your man before you decide to marry him

Uganda dating, Sex Life, Sex

Getting married to your man is an exciting event to look forward to, but before you say your “I dos,” you need to do five things to ensure your relationship will last.

1. Travel together

Going on a road trip will put you and your future husband in close quarters with each other for a long time. You will start to recognize different aspects of your relationship when you are stuck with him. Little annoyances, like singing loudly and off key to every song that comes on a radio is tolerable for the first 20 minutes, but after three hours in? Maybe not so much. You might discover that traveling with your man makes you or him more irritable with one another or more tolerable.

Being able to communicate during stressful conditions like getting lost or losing hotel reservations will help you solve problems together in the future when money is tight or your children have broken something expensive. If you can get through a long road trip together and look back on it with fond memories, consider it a green light for your marriage.

2. Disagree with each other

If you always agree with your future husband, take a step back and think about your relationship. Disagreements, arguments and different opinions are important in a healthy relationship. Sometime down the road you are going to disagree about a course of action, so before you get married, it is vital that you learn to compromise.

3. Discuss expectations

You most-likely have an expectation of how your marriage is going to operate. Perhaps you expect him to split the household chores evenly and for both of you to work full-time when you have children. On the other hand, he might expect you to stay home when you have children and do all of the household chores since you are a stay-at-home mom.

Before you get married, tell each other about your expectations for necessities like money, children, jobs and household duties. Most importantly, discusses your expectations for each other. You need to know what he expects of himself and of you. He needs to know what you expect of yourself and of him. Then compromise with one another.

4. Spend time apart

You love each other and therefore, you want to spend every moment together, but now is actually the time to spend time apart. Someone once said distance makes the heart grow fonder, which is true, but distance also make a relationship healthier. Men and women need companionship in friends and family. As much as your future husband loves you, he might not understand your need to talk for hours about everything under the moon, but your best girlfriend totally understands that need. Don’t be afraid to have a girl’s night without him.

If you don’t trust your man when he is away, you must learn to do so. Make expectations clear when it comes to talking to people of the opposite gender. Something to him may seem like a innocent action, but it could look like cheating in your eyes and vice versa.

5. Live with someone other than family

Living with someone who was raised differently than you is important before you get married. You don’t need to live with your fiance to have this experience. Living with roommates teaches you to solve household problems like dirty dishes and general cleanliness. You get used to not having lots of privacy and dealing with other people’s quirks. You also learn how to compromise and how to have healthy conflicts. These experiences teach you how to adjust to another’s living habits, which is a vital skill you will bring into marriage.

10 Lies Women Tell in Relationships

Woman 5

Whether it’s an effort to spare another person’s feelings or protect themselves, lying from time to time is something everyone does. But what about when that dishonesty comes from your partner? All lies, from little white untruths to serious deceit, can be detrimental to a relationship. And while both men and women are capable of being untruthful to their significant other, they may not always do it for the same reasons. Here are 10 lies women, in particular, tell.

1. How many people she’s slept with

Unless you got married right out of college, it’s likely both you and your significant other have had more than one sexual partner. Although you know this to be true, it doesn’t mean you won’t cringe at the mention of their number. Which is why a woman might lie when questioned her about her sexual history. Of course, both partners need to accept each other for who they are, and if someone’s judgmental based on the number, it’s probably time to move on.

2. Her life on social media

Does your news feed mostly consist of perfect couples, idyllic weddings, and dream vacations? If so, you’re not alone. In a world overrun with play-by-play updates and cyber-gloating gone mad, it’s no wonder your measly accomplishments pale in comparison. After all, your job promotion has nothing on that photo of a giggling toddler covered in spaghetti.

3. Saying she’s fine when she’s not

Anyone who’s heard these words before probably doesn’t consider it much of a punishable crime, but it is a lie, nonetheless. While it’s more acceptable in platonic relationships, such as with a coworker, there’s no place for this little white lie in a romantic one. A woman telling her partner she’s fine when something’s weighing on her mind could end up making her feel isolated or resentful.

4. How much something cost

Money will always be a topic of conversation, regardless of who makes more of it. So, it’s quite possible a woman may be tempted to fudge the truth as to how much that new outfit really cost. Dating coach DeAnne Lorraine told Men’s Health, “We think a man will judge us for our spending habits, and that he’ll think we’re silly or frivolous.” When it comes to money, though, it’s always best to be honest.

5. Telling her partner they’re the best she’s ever had

Wanting to please your partner in bed is only natural, and vise versa. Maybe you’re with the person you’re meant to be with for the rest of your life, and that’s great. But the truth is, this doesn’t always mean you’ll both be the best the other’s had. One woman told CafeMom she lied to her husband about him being the best sex she’s ever had. But honestly, will telling the truth in this situation really make anything better? Probably not. In this case, fibbing is just fine.

6. Fantasizing about someone else

Similar to the point above, is there really anything to gain by sharing fantasies (that don’t involve each other) in the middle of sexy time? Women’s Health points out it’s very possible ladies fantasize about another person while doing the deed.

Before you go getting your undies in a twist, though, remember you can’t control your thoughts, and neither can your partner. And while it may not be the perfect scenario, it’s probably not done purposefully. If you do decide you want to know the truth, be prepared for an answer you may not want to hear. Just think twice before you ask.

7. Having an orgasm

It’s not an urban legend by any means; some women have faked an orgasm at one time or another. Regardless of the reasoning behind it, it’s still a lie. Maybe she wanted it to be over. Or, perhaps she just knew it wasn’t going to happen this time. Whatever the case, it’s possible. In fact, according to Men’s Health, 48% of women have faked the big O.

8. Never having fooled around with her friends

Most people have good friends, both men and women, who’ve been through a lot with them. So, it’s not totally out of the question a woman will have dated one of her good friends. But before jealousy has a chance to rear it’s ugly head, she lies about it. If that friendship is important to her, though, Thought Catalog says there’s a good chance she’ll keep those dirty details of the past all to herself.

9. She wasn’t that into her ex

Anyone who’s devoted a significant amount of time to someone else surely had feelings for them, even if they no longer do. Susan Shapiro Barash, author of Little White Lies, Deep Dark Secrets, tells Men’s Fitness, a woman may lie about how she felt about an ex for a few different reasons. She might do it to come across as a good girl, to make it seem like she wasn’t endlessly searching for the right person, or just to protect her partner’s feelings.

10. Being on birth control

One survey asked 2,000 people about lies they’ve told or heard, and “I’m on birth control” made the list, ranking as the most severe fib. Being honest about all things related to sex is always important, no matter what. And taking chances when it comes to risking a pregnancy? Definitely not cool.
