As the heat for the next elections in 2021 heats up, Rubaga South is likely to have a hotly contested elections considering two artistes who are eying the same parliamentary seat.
While incumbent Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama is confident to retain seat, singer Aganaga thinks he has not done enough. Aganaga recently expressed intentions to stand in 2021. However, the reaction from voters is something he should worry about if they don’t change their minds.
When expressed his ambitions to stand, most of the voters in a poll thought he would be a much worse representative. Some comments read “He is a young boy, arrogant and has not mastered the art of leadership, better the Kato Lubwama we know than a headless chicken”
Aganaga however has not been discouraged by remarks. We wish both artistes the best come 2021.
Rapper Gravity last night escaped jaws of death by a whisker when a security guard narrowly missed him after a verbal exchange in Mityana.
Gravity was since transfered to Rubaga hospital in Kampala where he is being attended to.
The rapper while narrating to us the incident also revealed it was by God’s grace that he survived death. “God saved me for a reason and I want to thank him and serve him” he said.
According to his family, the rapper will be discharged today and will organise a thanks giving ceremony where he will announce his new religion.

Singer Ragga Dee is crying foul after his Kololo based bar Big Mikes was closed earlier this week. This followed complaints from Kololo residents that the bar makes a lot of noise and gives them sleepless nights.
The closure of the bar has left Ragga Dee frustrated and with intentions to sue KCCA and seek compersation for losses incurred. According to Ragga Dee, he has lost more than 70,000,000shillings during the few days his bar has been closed.
Ragga Dee also urges that his bar was closed maliciously considering that others bars on the same street including Winnie Byanyima’s H2O were not closed.
As part of the initiative to discourage irresponsible alcohol consumption and drunk driving, Uganda Breweries Limited is carrying out a series of Red Card activations in bars around Kampala.
The activations are tailored to educate alcohol consumers to be aware of their tolerance levels and ensure they act responsibly when under the influence of alcohol.
Uganda Breweries Red Card scouts led by Galaxy FM boss Innocent Nahabwe, who is also the campaign ambassador, on Friday night stormed Hide Out Bar and engaged party people on responsible drinking and urged them not to drink and drive. Roast and Rhyme returned for yet another edition on Sunday at their home at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo. Dubbed “Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam”, revelers who turned up in droves were treated to a fun-filled day as they feasted on nyama choma and enjoyed the cool breeze afforded by the lake with live band music in the background. The fun day was capped with performances from music duo, Kent and Flosso aka Voltage Music and legendary Ugandan singer Ragga Dee.
Kent and Flosso stepped on stage shortly after 7pm as darkness started to also creep in. The duo was welcomed with cheers from the excited crowd. Backed by Janzi band, they went on to thrill revelers with songs like Byafayo, Overdose, Cheza Mama and Pull Up among others in a live performance. Their showcase lasted for close to an hour, before paving way for Ragga Dee.
The former Kampala mayoral contestant took to the stage amidst ululations from the crowd. Donning a blue jacket, black trousers and green shoes, Ragga Dee took revelers down memory lane as he churned out his past hit songs.
Throwing his dreadlocks around as he performed, he had the crowd dancing to his songs including Ndigida, Abantu, Letter O, Empeta and Stranger among others.
Even when he left the stage, the party carried on as DJ Aludah took over the turntables. The party went on till late.
The event which is now in its 9th edition is organized by Bell Jamz and Swangz Avenue.

Reportedly due to abject poverty, Mzee Abdul Juma Isaac split from his family, leaving young Diamond and his mother Sandra to fend for themselves. Diamond went on to drop out of high school, and start hawking second-hand clothes to try and support his family, then that he was the man of the house. With the unwavering support of his mother, Naseeb ventured into music, and his first single, “Kamwambie”, propelled him to fame.
Diamond would go on to attain international acclaim after “Number One Remix” featuring Davido, and his works Rick Ross, Morgan Heritage, Omarion, P Square and Ne-Yo. Top Ugandan musician, Sheebah Karungi, has been working on her house for some time now. The new house located in Munyonyo has been talked about by many because it is magnificent.
Fast forward, the Wankona star has finished building and recently entered her new mansion along with her loved ones.
Speaking about the new pad in Munyonyo, Sheebah who is signed under Team No Sleep managed by Jeff Kiwa, said that she had a dream and worked on it and now her new home is her happy place. ‘It was all a dream. My Pride. My happy Place’
Sheebah who recently revealed that she will not be holding a special show this year leaves behind a long trail of artistes who are still renting and hoping to achieve this mega milestone of owning their own home.

City socialite and top snapchatter, Bad Black real names Shanita Namuyimbwa has had her phone confiscated by Police. This comes after the ex-convict posted a video on her Snapchat account that was considered to be in violation of Ugandan laws.
Black was summoned for a video in which authorities believe she was defaming the President of Uganda. She told fans that she was summoned, responded and was released on bond.
‘I was summoned to the CID headquarters for Social Media misuse and I am being charged with disturbing the peace of the President. I went there yesterday morning and spent the whole day there. Later I got a police bond. The offence was committed in Dubai in August last year according to Police.’ Black said.

The socialite and mother noted that Police was very respectful towards her as they handled the case. ” I was handled very well and there were no issues. I think it is because I respected the summons. I don’t want to run from my home. I am going to sort them.’ Black remarked.
She then told her fans that her phone was retained and she decided to buy a new phone immediately after. “They have retained my phone for three days as they conduct investigations. I am willing to go to court. I have my defense I didn’t mention the President’s name in that video. I just said Mzee and that is all. I know this will end. I am not into politics. Anyone who wants to get me involved in Politics I am not interested. I just do what makes me happy on Social Media. I know this will end.”
The said video had Black saying that she was raped and even got pregnant.
In 2016 Bad Black was released from Luzira Prison when she completed a 4 year jail term for conning her white lover of Ushs 11 billion. She has since been in and out of the country, hooked up with several guys including other white men some of whom come to Uganda to visit her from time to time.
