According to our sources, Fille ran to her godfather Pastor Robert Kayanja for advice and solace after the Saturday incident to whom she went on to disclose MC Kats’ ill behaviors. She allegedly disclosed how the NBS After5 presenter disrespects her to the extent of cheating on her in public with other city babes.

The Mbeera Eno singer also told the pastor how MC Kats drinks a lot on top of smoking Shisha and cigarettes, something that has put his health in danger everyday forgetting that they have young kids to take care of at home.

Despite fighting and splitting bitterly over the weekend, MC Kats who was hurt most both physically and emotionally seems to be missing his girlfriend Fille already.

Renowned city events emcee, MC Kats, real name Edwin Katamba, has refused to be interviewed by media houses following a bitter fight he had with her fiancée Fille over the weekend.

While hosting his NBS After5 show yesterday, Kats said that several media houses had called him up for an interview about the incident but turned them down.

“I had to switch off my phone today because of the several media houses that were calling me for interviews.” He said, before adding; “whatever happened between me and my baby mama is our private life and not for public to know. I respect my baby mama and I’ll keep it like that.”

However, Dj Roja went ahead to ask Kats to give a brief recap of what happened something that pissed him off and responded by telling Roja to shut up.

It should be noted that MC Kats has been blamed for putting the saga in the spotlight after he quickly shared pictures of him with bruises on social media following his fight with Fille.

Local filmmaker George Stanley Nsamba has been honoured at one of the biggest African film festivals in USA, the  Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF), earning him his first official film award from a festival.

Nsamba has received a special recognition award in the “Achievement in Narrative Short Film” category for his third short film – “The Dummy Team”.

The Dummy Team, which premiered in July this year, is a Ugandan comic film about 5 kids who try to recreate an HIV film set. The short film brought home the award following eight festival selections and five festival nominations.

Meanwhile, Nsamba had been previously nominated at the same festival last year in the Best Narrative Short Film Category for his short film “Crafts: The value of life” although he never won.

Set in San Francisco Bay Area, the Silicon Valley African Film Festival recognizes and celebrates the creation and discovery of cinematic art and innovation, and showcases the richness, diversity and vitality of Africa’s creative expressions through the lenses of Africa’s seasoned and emerging filmmakers.

TV personality Faridah Nakazibwe has finally come out to reveal why she dumped NRM Vice-Chairman Al-hajji Moses Kigongo and decided to get married to Dr. Omar Ssali.

According to Faridah, Kigongo’s character forced her to dump him since he wanted her to move in with him at his Kololo residence, something that she found disrespectful to Kigongo’s estranged wife Olivia Kigongo of 25 years.

She further revealed that Kigongo was using her to get back at his ex-wife and had even put a security detail to trail her every day and things got worse when he sent goons to beat up her now husband Dr. Omar.

Breakups are some of our lives most climatic moments, but did you know that there are different kinds of breakups? Ranked by the heartache caused, here is a list of breakup types that you will most likely be encountering or have already encountered

1. The mutual breakup

If you are going to break up with someone, this is the way to do it. A mutual breakup happens when both sides are in agreement and are at peace with the decision to separate. This one also hurts the least, because you both know the relationship would have probably ended in due time.

There might also be a chance for recovery together from this one. For example, if your love for each other is actually more platonic than romantic, you can still be friends. But we all know how that goes.

2. The circumstantial breakup

Similar to the mutual breakup, this one is caused by situations that impede the relationship from developing any further. You are in a long distance relationship, one of you travels, the family or their best friend does not like you, or a multitude of other issues can occur that fracture your coupling. This one will hurt slightly because one of you may have honest feelings of love that you now have to brush aside.

3. The first love breakup

Also known as the High School Sweetheart Breakup, a first love breakup is one that will have taken some time to develop. Your first love might not have happened in High School, maybe in college or after graduation, but things got steamy fast.

You might have moved in together, got some pets, thought everything was going to be heaven. Then the relationship started to sour between you as you matured. As it turns out, the two of you were not meant to be, and so the cookie crumbles.

Top Ugandan artistes have been selected to curtain raise at the upcoming Kool & The Gang concert in Kampala on the 12th November at the Kololo Airstrip Grounds.

Jazz sensation and Saxophonist Isaiah Katumwa, guitar maestro Myko Ouma and Hip Hop and R&B group Swahili Nation have been selected to perform at the Kool & The Gang concert.

Powered by Tusker Malt Lager and organised by Talent Africa and Silk Events, the concert will be a 70’s themed dress code event at the Kololo Airstrip Grounds in what will be the biggest disco themed production in Uganda’s history.

Isaiah Katumwa who is no stranger to performing alongside big name artistes, will be looking to lighten up the disco with his Saxophone blares. Being one of the engines behind the continued establishment of Jazz music as one of the leading genres in Uganda, he will be playing to thousands of Jazz lovers at the concert.

It’s been an excellent year for Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage. In an in-depth interview, she added that she will not be losing her Nigerian influence or forgetting her roots just because she is now signed to an overseas level.

She said: “I definitely don’t want to forget my Nigerian roots. I think that when you sign an international deal, there is this tendency to forget home. We artistes also tend to forget that the main reason they signed you is because you were doing very well at home, so you can’t forget that. So, I am basically just trying to strike a balance with both audience and market.”

She was also asked to comment on the media pressure she’s been subjected to over the past few months and she revealed that she’s not letting it get to her. “You can’t make everyone happy. I don’t try to waste time on people that don’t love me, so I just spend time with people that love me so I don’t disappoint them,” she said.

When did you start professional music?

I started professional music back then in 2012 and I have so far done a couple of songs making up a full album

What are the challenges you have faced in the industry as a singer

Beefing in the industry is too much at the moment, whoever sees you excelling wants to put you down. Also promotion is a bit hard, DJs don’t play our music, they undermine a lot of upcoming talent and the same applies to radio and TV presenters

How did you meet up with Queen Monster?

I was seeing her for quite a long time but we weren’t talking by then, she had manners that I was attracted to, her ways of life were also good until last year when I approached her and up to now we are still a thing

Do you consider recording a song with Queen Monster?

Of course we are working on a collabo that will be released soon, so all our fans should be ready for this one because it will be the best love song they will ever hear

How true is it that you guys are getting married next year

Yes I proposed to her and she has an expensive engagement ring that I bought her and in April next year we are planning an introduction where I will officially visit her parents then the wedding will follow

How do you cope up with her despite her being a celebrity?

We always put the celebrity status our when it comes to our family, she is a woman I am seeing my future with so we respect and trust each other, it’s always being loyal to one another that matters

According to Sharitah, she decided to divorce her husband after she nabbed him bonking her best friend in their car.

“Yes, I divorced with my husband last week and I have moved on. I’ll concentrate on raising my kids and giving them a bright future and I wish their dad the best,” said Sharitah.

Richard and Sharitah tied the knot on 27th August 2011 in a colorful wedding that took place at Victoria Park, Kawuku.

Uganda’s dynamic duo Radio and Weasel are set to drop a new album featuring several African stars soon.

According to our close sources in the Goodlyfe camp, the Tabula Edagala singers have recorded most of the tracks on this album with African music stars like Kenya’s biggest group Sauti Sol, Nigeria’s Cynthia Morgan, Wizkid and KaySwitch among others.

We have been informed that Radio and Weasel have been compiling and working on these collaborations one by one and are now in the final stages of completing an album.

Radio and Weasel expect this music album to be among the top albums on the continent come next year after it finally hits music stores.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz, who was in the company of three women in his car, was forced to speed off from a roadside eatery in Sinza Afrikasana, Dar es Salaam, after several men surrounded his car, demanding he gets out of the car so that they could see the women the singer was with.

The men, who seemingly suspected that Diamond Platnumz was cheating on Zari in the car (which was parked by the roadside), made an ambush when a waitress brought chips to one of the women through the car’s back passenger window.

“The woman who had ordered chips lowered the passenger window, received the fries and rolled the windows up before Diamond Platnumz accelerated to a near 120kph speed,” a source told Tanzania’s Global Publishers.

Global Publishers reached Diamond Platnumz for comment, and when he was found on phone, he said: “On that night I was with my friends; three women, among them Queen Darlin. We had stopped by the roadside eatery to buy food as we had camped in studio the whole day. While there, I saw a crowd of men surrounding my car and demanding I get out. I was not sure about their intention, and speeding off was the only thing I could do.”

According to what we learnt in school, getting pregnant should be as easy as reciting our ABCs – just have unprotected sex with the opposite sex and voila! Baby bump.

But in reality, it is not that much of a piece of cake. Life’s largely unfair, and getting caught in its zone of misfortune can be tough. Getting pregnant can get so difficult and frustrating that it could rock the very sanity from a woman.

Of course, there are ways to ensure that you don’t become imprisoned by the pain of chasing a pregnancy.

Below are some tips to draw you a step closer to the magical bingo moment of conception.

1. Take prenatal pills

Taking prenatal pills is one of the surest ways of getting pregnant. The pills, especially those with Omega 3 fish oils,  act as a supplement to the woman’s diet and this helps aid in the absorption of the vitamins.

2. Have sex with your partner at the right time

It is a known fact that babies can only be conceived through the act of sex but the couple should time their sex right. Having sex when you are ovulating is important – the tried and tested strategy – but there is a little more to it.

There is a four-five-day period around ovulation, starting two days prior to the actual ovulation, when a female can conceive. Couples should thus take a swing at the ball of pregnancy during that window to increase their chances of a hit.

3. Stop using lubes

If the couple is serious about having a baby, they should skip using lubes. Those can be reserved for another encounter. Research shows most lubricants actually work against pregnancy plans, thus affect sperm mobility.

4. Stop the intake of caffeine

Taking caffeine is a bad choice when it comes to aspirations of baby-making because it can delay the time it takes to conceive. Women who drink two or more servings of any type of soda a day have about a 16% lower fertility rate than women who don’t drink any, according to a 2012 study co-authored by Lauren Wise, ScD. Keep in mind that chocolate and most sodas contain caffeine too.

5. Exercise but no too much

Women who work out vigorously five hours a week or more are less likely to get pregnant than those who don’t exercise as strenuously. It’s strange, but it is what it is. Going to the extreme with exercise can be problematic for conception says Dr. Ahlering is a highly regarded surgeon in Urologic cancers.

6. Be a better brusher

According to the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), gum disease can add an extra two months to the amount of time it takes to become pregnant.

Bizarre? You bet, but don’t take chances by not abiding. Make sure you get your teeth checked before trying to conceive.

7. Limit alcohol intake

Alcohol can surely leads to conception-friendly activities in the bedroom but having too much of it can sabotage your plans too.

he bottom line is there’s no known safe level of alcohol consumption during pregnancy, so while it may be a fun way to get in the mood, it’s best to stick to your favorite  lovemaking tunes, mocktails, and some sexy under-things to light the fire. If you drink, you’ll risk spending the next nine months worrying if those few sips hurt your baby.

Songbird Fille Mutoni has revealed that she has been deeply hurt after her fiance MC Kats alleged that she had beaten him up over the weekend.

MC Kats and Fille reportedly had a big altercation on Saturday evening which escalated into a physical fight,  with the “Embeera Eno” singer allegedly beating the NBS TV presenter to pulp. Fille is also said to have almost ran Kats over as she drove away in fury after the fight.

Fille has denied these claims and since decided to relieve him of the managerial duties revealing that he has greatly disappointed her because she never thought that he would react in such an extreme manner.

“I have decided to stop working with MC Kats,” she said.  “If he comes out and tells the truth, and vindicates me, then we may work together again because he is not a bad person and has been doing his duties well.”

She added, “I am deeply hurt because this saga has ruined my reputation and now people are seeing me differently. I may even get a gig abroad and be denied a VISA on the premise that I am a violent woman because of this scandal.”

Meanwhile, Fille has also revealed that Kats has hijacked her official Social Media platforms and is using them to disseminate information to serve his personal interests and any information shared on these platforms should not be trusted.

The Daily Show host Trevor Noah will no longer be hosting the MTV MAMAs scheduled for Saturday evening.

The comic has released a statement on Twitter saying he is unable to travel because of a severe ear infection that has affected his vocal chords.

He has been ordered to rest and has apologised to fans.

Organisers have confirmed that media personality Bonang Matheba will be replacing him.
