7 Gift items you should never buy for your partner

couple-5

Yeah, guys love to receive gifts on their birthdays and other occasions just as much as the ladies. Wondering what to give them on special occasions? Well… let’s start with what not to give him. These are some of the gifts you should never give a man.

1. Underwear

I’m going to start with this because it seems many guys still complain they get boxers and singlet as birthday gifts or whatever gift. If you belong to the calibre of girls that buy these for your boyfriend or friend, please stop. There are better gifts you can give him that he will appreciate even more. I’m sure the guys are tired of the singlet and boxers they keep receiving.

2. Cheap/Fake Jewelries

Just as we hate cheap jewelries, men hate it too. Don’t buy him jewelries if he is not going to have the opportunity of rocking it for long. Buy him something of quality. Almost every man wears wristwatches, you can get him a good brand; Swatch, Rolex, Hublot and many others that are awesome. You can also get him a very simple looking bracelet or necklace if you can afford it.

3. Alcohol

I know most men like to drink and party but it doesn’t mean a gift of alcohol will be well appreciated; especially if it is a not so good brand of wine. If you’re going to give him alcohol on his birthday, make sure it is something really amazing and don’t buy him vodka if he is a huge fan of whisky.

4. Wallets

I’m not saying you can’t give a guy a wallet as a gift, especially if the one he has is worn and old but don’t give him the wallet alone. You can add leather slippers, shoes, a tee or any other thing he will love. You can actually give him the wallet with the jewellery and a (really not cheap) belt.

5. Fake/Cheap Perfume

You don’t want him smelling like a badly embalmed corpse, so it is best you buy him something really nice. It doesn’t have to be so expensive; there are awesome brands of perfume that you can get for less than 50,000 Ugx. He should be excited about the gift and not disgusted by it.

6. Tickets To Boring Events

It is very easy to know what guys like, at the same time, your predictions may be wrong. I’ve seen guys who actually detest watching soccer. So, if you are going to buy him tickets to anything, it has to be some place he will be excited to go to. You can’t buy him a ticket to see a romance movie when Termination is showing at the same time. Before you buy a ticket, always be sure it something they will love to go for.

7. Kitchen Appliances/Utensils

Except he is a chef or he loves cooking or he just moved into a new apartment and you’re trying to save the day, do not buy a guy kitchen appliances or utensils. The best you can give him is a maid that will help him prepare his meals. Some guys don’t even know their way around a kitchen much less know how to cook. If you buy guys like that kitchen stuff, you’re going to meet it in its carton or on the shelf gathering cobwebs and dust.

There are thousands of things you will give a guy that he will love. You don’t have to be cliché and dash him boxers and singlet because everybody is buying it. There are game consoles, iPods (or any music players), gadgets like plasma TV, phones, headsets or take him out to eat in one of his best spots. Don’t think about the cost. Remember, what is worth doing is worth doing well.

The December 2016 edition of the Jazz Evenings with Johnnie Walker couldn’t have had a better artiste than guitarist Myko Ouma. In him, the organizers found the best act to close out another successful year.

The event started at 8:00pm with Ouma kicking straight into overdrive mode with his iconic single Flashback before jokingly announcing to the eager audience that he was only doing a sound test. The songs that followed next; Paradise, Aluru, Immortal, One day all showcased his mastery of the guitar, albeit in a laid back mode.

Myko Ouma

The audience at this point simply sat back while sipping at their Johnnie Walker cocktails and enjoying the sweet jazz sounds. He afterwards teamed up with Maurice Kirya to perform a couple of songs that included Maurice’s Never been loved. As usual, Maurice got the attention of the ladies.

Towards 10pm, Ouma upped the ante. His performance all of a sudden got everyone on their feet. Tekno’s Pana was followed by Wizkid’s Ojuelegba. Radio and Weasel’s Juice, A Pass and Lillian’s Memories had revelers rushing to Club Guvnor’s dance floor.

Proficient on a variety of distinctive traditional instruments, Ouma’s musical vision is to integrate Ugandan folk music and Jazz. As a guitarist, he has developed a unique playing style informed by the traditional rhythms and melodies of Ugandan roots music. He is an active producer both in studio and of live events.

Prior to the event, Lois Aber, the Johnnie Walker Brand Manager said that the Jazz genre in Uganda is at the take off stage and that this was the motivation behind their partnership with organizers of the evening.

“Jazz has gained acceptance in Uganda. This therefore calls for more support to the local jazz artistes. We are happy that the Jazz Evening has given our local artistes a platform upon which to showcase their skills to a unique audience,” she explained.

jazz-evening

The Jazz Evening with Johhnie Walker has previously featured great artistes including Ernest Otim performing music off his Book of Groovation album, Kiracho Njoroge performing music off his Love is Spelled T.I.M.E album, Kaz Kasozi performing music off his Star Shift album, and Charmant Mushaga performing music off his African Love album.

The Live Jazz Evening is held every first Thursday of the month and is sponsored by Johnnie Walker in partnership with 106.1 Jazz FM, Radio One FM90, Fezah – entertainment’s booking app, Sauti Warehouse – for live sound, and Guvnor.

3 Reasons you should never marry for

couple propose

Most people would love to get married one day, they’ll settle down with the man or woman of their dreams. We all want to fall in love and spend the rest of our life with that special one, but we must only marry for one reason: love. Marrying for love is the best, because when the waves of destruction come, when your marriage is rocked by so many things, only true love can stand the test of time.

So if you had planned to get married for the following reasons, get rid of these ideas , if you aren’t prepared to let go, then it means you aren’t ready for marriage.

 1. MARRYING FOR MONEY

It used to be rampant among the ladies, every girl needed a Sudhir or a Bill Gates but guys are also interested in marrying rich ladies too. No one wants to suffer, we want to live that luxury, that life we see on ‘keeping up with the Kardashians’. You want to wake up in a bed made of gold, you don’t ever wanna struggle or think about raising money.

This is the problem with young lovers of today, where has true love gone? When our grandparents were satisfied marrying whomever they fell in love with?

If you marry someone because of his money, family name or political connections, always remember that all that can get lost.

2. MARRYING BECAUSE OF BEAUTY

It’s okay for us to have preferences, some men prefer lightskinned women, some women prefer darkskinned men, some men love short women while others perefer them tall, some love it when their girl is slender while some want them BBW(Beautiful black woman). It is very cool to have a standard but should that be your primary focus? No!

Don’t marry a woman because she is beautiful, one day you’ll wake up and see someone more beautiful, and that’s when infidelity comes in.

3. DON’T MARRY FOR MARRYING SAKE

‘My mother has been pressuring me to get married’, hello? Marriage isn’t for babies, your mother won’t be there when things would start falling apart. Don’t force yourself into marriage, when you know you aren’t ready, this would only earn you one thing: unhappiness. Don’t succumb to societal pressure, get married at your own time.

8 Things that make you more attractive

$
0

sexy-black-womanNo time for a spa day? Looking better doesn’t have to take all afternoon – or cost you an arm and a leg. In fact, you can uncover a more attractive you in as little as 10 minutes.

1. Stand up straight

Take a look at any red carpet event on TV and you won’t see a slouch in sight. That’s because celebrities know that when the cameras are on, good posture is their best friend. Standing up straight not only makes you look more confident, but, according to Women’s Health, it can also camouflage myriad “problem areas” from belly pooch to droopy breasts.

2. Get your clothes tailored

You’re likely not leaving your house dressed in a potato sack, but even clothing purchased in “your size” may not be doing you many favors. Chances are, you’re not going to find a custom fit straight off the rack, but spending 10 minutes being fitted by a tailor can take your look from so-so to svelte.

3. Take a walk

No time for a two-hour gym session? A quick afternoon walk may be all you need to instantly feel – and look – better. According to Active.com, research shows that daily walking can help you lose weight, tone up and even fight off the common cold. And that little boost of cardiovascular exercise will lend a youthful glow that lasts all afternoon.

4. Spray it on

If you thought attraction was all appearances, think again. If attractiveness is merely a spritz away, spray it on. But go easy; bathing in a scent will likely give you – and everyone else – a headache.

5. Trim (and trim some more)

If your beauty regimen doesn’t include trimming (or in some cases, mowing) the hair in your nose, ears and between your eyebrows, it’s time to reach for the trimmer. As you age, hair tends to spring up in the least desirable places, usually due to hormone changes. A quick swipe with a trimmer will give you back some confidence (and bare skin).

6. Swipe on concealer

Dark under eye circles are a tell-tale sign that you’ve been burning the midnight oil. But those unsightly bags might have more to do with genetics than your midnight oil-burning habits. Fair or thin skin under the eyes make under eye circles much more obvious. Combat the discoloration with a dab of concealer. And this tip isn’t just for females. Gentlemen, there’s a concealer for you, too.

7. Get some shut-eye

If droopy, tired eyes are undermining your look, you can do something about it. Got 10 minutes, a closed door and a soft spot to land? Take a quick power nap to help you feel – and look – refreshed.

8. Take a supplement

Wish looking better were as easy as popping a pill? Well, it might be. A good, immunity-boosting supplement can help you feel more energetic and revitalized – not to mention help prevent you from catching that office bug by giving your immune system the tools it needs to keep you safe.

4 Best Sex Positions To Conceive Twins

Though having twin babies is not in your hands, some sexual positions may increase your probability of having them.

1. Side by side:

It is also known as a doggy style where the woman will position by bending her knees, and her partner will penetrate from behind. In this position, the couple will be able to conceive twins as the cervix will be more approachable to the sperms.

2. Standing up position:

It is also another variation to doggy style where there is a chance of deep penetration.

3. Missionary position:

The man-on-top position helps the sperm to enter the egg easily, and it is the best sex position to produce twins.

4. Rear entry position:

Here, the partner enters from behind, and in this position, the sperm remains close to the cervix of the woman.

Insurers to focus on technology and distribution in 2017

The Uganda Insurers Association (UIA) has announced that in 2017, insurers will largely focus on increasing access to information on insurance and access to insurance services. This announcement was made during a media specific engagement in Kampala in which the Association updated the media on its activities and developments in 2016 as well as the industry’s plans for 2017.

“This year we launched our 3 year consumer education program with the objective of presenting insurance in simple terms to make it more relatable to the public in order to increase the appreciation and purchase of insurance. One of our learnings over 2016 is that a level of awareness about insurance has been achieved. What we therefore need to focus on- in addition to continuous sensitization- is how we can better provide our services; improve on the information available and on how best we can reach the current and future consumers,” said Ms. Miriam Magala, Chief Executive Officer, UIA, at the engagement. “Our consumer awareness program follows from the industry’s market growth development plan which intends to see insurance penetration grow to 3% by 2025.”

Mr. Deepak Pandey, the Uganda Insurers Association chairman addresses journalists at the recently held media engagement breakfast.

Mr. Deepak Pandey, the Uganda Insurers Association chairman addresses journalists at the recently held media engagement breakfast.

“The amendments to the Financial Institutions Act (FIA) which now allow us to sell our products through bank networks as well as the development of Takaful (Islamic insurance) and micro insurance regulations also mean that as we continue to educate, the industry needs to be positioned to meet the needs of these particular market segments. This will extend to the products we are developing, access to these products, the information we relay and how best we manage both client and related stakeholder expectations,” added Mr. Deepak Pandey, Chairman UIA.

In 2017, the insurance industry will therefore look to leverage on technology and further develop their distribution models to improve on access to information to insurance services.

“One of the projects we shall be launching in early 2017 is the “App Challenge” in which we will invite the public and especially the youth, to develop an application which will be used to, among others, provide information on the basics of insurance, the different products/services on the market, information on licensed players as well as information on how to make a claim. We also expect that through this Challenge and the application itself, we will receive information on the public about our services and use that information to ensure that insurance remains relevant to the public,” Ms. Magala said.

The Association will also put in place fraud databases to enable the industry monitor and understand consumer consumption patterns and needs as well as determine fraud instances in order to curb this practice.

In terms of strategic action, to ensure the growth of the industry, the Association will continue its engagements with the Bank of Uganda, the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda, Uganda Bankers Association, the Ministry of Finance and other stakeholders to ensure the establishment of a positive regulatory and business environment in 2017. UIA has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alhuda Center of Islamic Banking and Economics (CIBE), a partnership that will be critical as the industry prepares itself to take on Takaful (Islamic insurance). The partnership will extend to, among others, capacity building, product development, design and distribution, developing appropriate Takaful models for this market and providing advisory support on suitable regulatory frameworks. The Association will also continue to lobby for positive regulatory business environments, most important is the Insurance Bill, 2016 under which the Association is lobbying for the establishment of an appropriate & cost efficient business environment targeted at engineering growth, without compromising on supervisory intervention. Most critical issues are to ensure that supervisory intervention is restricted to situations or circumstances bound to place policyholders funds at risk or if a business is unable to meet its liabilities; premiums are paid at inception or renewal of the policy-the current law allows for credit; all local risks including marine, and oil & gas risks are written by and through locally licensed companies, and that the boards of insurance companies retains the right to determine the distribution of profits, subject to ensuring that there is sufficient capital in the company and that a company is able to pay claims when it is required to do so. We are confident that with our engagements with the Ministry, IRA and Members of Parliament, a suitable law will be passed. We are also advocating for a phased implementation of the law, once it is passed, due to the changes that will be required of companies including adjustments to capital, changes in internal processes and recruitment of additional staff.

The Association remains confident that through these and similar efforts, a fair regulatory environment will be established without compromising on supervisory intervention and unduly increasing business costs.

The Association will similarly continue to work with the Ministry of Finance, the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda (IRA), the Uganda Police Force and the Uganda Revenue Authority to ensure the enforcement of the compulsory insurances in 2017 that is- Motor Third Party Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance and Marine Insurance.

Uganda Insurers Association is the umbrella organization for all insurance and reinsurance companies in Uganda. Membership currently stands at 32 Life, General and Reinsurance companies.

UNBS recognizes competent laboratories

The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has today 7th December 2016 handed over certificates to 5 laboratories in recognition as competent and legitimate laboratories in the position to test products and issue accurate test results.

This is in line with the Laboratory Recognition Scheme established to ensure that other products outside the scope of UNBS Laboratories are tested and also expand UNBS testing capacity.

This move is also in tandem with the drive at the EAC level where other competent laboratories can be used for testing of products and the accruing results are recognised as legitimate and authentic.

The Quality Manager of Uganda Industrial Research Institute Jean Rubakuba(left) receives a certificate of recognition from UNBS Executive Director Ben Manyindo.

The Quality Manager of Uganda Industrial Research Institute Jean Rubakuba(left) receives a certificate of recognition from UNBS Executive Director Ben Manyindo.

This therefore, implies that the recognised laboratories today are competent to test and issue results that may be used by UNBS in product certification scheme and its other regulatory activities. This will also greatly reduce on the work load in the UNBS laboratories thereby reducing the time it takes to get results consequently making trade faster and smoother. The recognised laboratories include; Chemiphar Uganda, Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI), SMAT Uganda limited, Roofings (U) Ltd and RECO Industries.

Speaking at the recognition ceremony, the UNBS Executive Director Dr, Ben Manyindo said “these are some of the initiatives UNBS is undertaking to increase capacity of the institution to ensure fair trade through standards”.

Adele, Beyonce Lead Nominations at 2017 Grammy Awards

Beyonce

It will be a diva duel at the 59th annual Grammy Awards: Hip-hop queen Beyonce is headed for a face-off with British pop superstar Adele in three of the four top categories.

Meghan Trainor, the 2016 best new artist recipient, announced nominations in the four so-called general field slots on Tuesday “CBS This Morning.”

Beyonce’s widely praised million-selling collection “Lemonade” is pitted against Adele’s 10 million-seller “25” in the Album of the Year category. Beyonce’s politically-edged hit “Formation” (written by Beyonce, Khalif Brown, Asheton Hogan and Michael L. Williams II) and Adele’s ubiquitous single “Hello” (penned by Adele and Greg Kurstin) will compete for honors as Song of the Year, a writer’s award, and Record of the Year, awarded to artist, producers, engineers and mixers.

Overall, Beyonce leads the nominations with nine bids, followed by Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West, with eight apiece. Chance The Rapper grabbed seven noms.

Filling out the Album of the Year slot are pop singer Justin Bieber’s “Purpose,” Canadian rapper Drake’s “Views,” and alternative country singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson’s “A Sailor’s Guide to Earth.”

Also up for Record of the Year are Danish pop quartet Lukas Graham’s “7 Years,” R&B singer Rihanna’s “Work” (a collaboration with Drake) and Ohio pop twosome Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out.”

Other Song of the Year nominees include pop singer Mike Posner’s “I Took a Pill in Ibiza,” Bieber’s “Love Yourself” (written by Bieber, Benjamin Levin and Ed Sheeran), and Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” (penned by Lukas Forchhammer, Stefan Forrest, Morten Pilegaard and Morten Ristorp).

Competing for the Best New Artist crown are country-pop singer Kelsea Ballerini, DJ duo The Chainsmokers, Chicago hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper, country singer-songwriter Maren Morris and Southern California rapper Anderson .Paak.

The year’s dueling divas are no strangers to Recording Academy voters. With a track record dating back to her days as a member of the R&B act Destiny’s Child, Beyonce has reaped 20 Grammy wins, but only one of them has been in a so-called “big four” general-field category – she took Song of the Year honors in 2009 as co-writer of her hit “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).” She has otherwise prevailed in rap and R&B slots.

A 10-time winner, Adele is a rarity among Grammy winners, for she has found success in all four of the major categories: Named Best New Artist in 2009, she took home Album, Record and Song of the Year laurels in 2012 for her sophomore album “21” and its hit single “Rolling in the Deep.” “25” is her second consecutive album to go ten-times-platinum, a sales achievement without equal

A potential spoiler in the big fields could be Drake, an oft-nominated star with just one Grammy win to date, for best rap album “Take Care” in 2013.

But, in the run-up to today’s nominations, most Grammy-savvy pundits have viewed 2017’s competition for the major awards as a two-horse race, between a hip-hop veteran long denied triumph in the most prestigious categories and the young Brit superstar who has pulled off almost unimaginable commercial feats in the space of just five years.

The year’s other major nominees are troubled rapper Kanye West (with eight nods, but again shut out of the big awards, except for featured artist work on Drake’s “Views”), Rihanna (eight), Chance the Rapper (seven) and twenty one pilots vocalist Tyler Joseph (five).

One widely lauded and emotionally received album is consigned to nominations in genre categories: The title track of David Bowie’s album “Blackstar,” released two days before the veteran British star’s death in January, received nods for best rock performance and best rock song, while the collection was tabbed as best alternative music album.

Nominated as non-classical producer of the year were Greg Kurstin (for tracks by Sia, Adele, Tegan and Sara and Ellie Goulding), Benny Blanco (for his work with Bieber, Major Lazer, Francis and the Lights, Tony Lanez and Cashmere Cat), Max Martin (for numbers by Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Pink, Katy Perry and Adele), Nineteen85 (for tracks by DJ Khaled, Drake, PartyNextDoor, James Vincent McMorrow, dvsn and Drake) and Ricky Reed (for songs by Meghan Trainor, Phantogram, 5 Seconds of Summer, Fitz and the Tantrums and DJ Snake).

Acknowledged in the best score soundtrack for visual media slot were “Bridge of Spies” (Thomas Newman), “Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight” (Ennio Morricone), “The Revenant” (Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto), “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (John Williams) and two separate volumes of music from the Netflix series “Stranger Things” (Kyle Dixon and Michael Klein).

Receiving nods as best compilation soundtrack for visual media were “Amy,” “Miles Ahead,” “Straight Outta Compton,” “Suicide Squad” and the HBO series “Vinyl.”

In the running for best song written for visual media are “Can’t Stop the Feeling” (from “Trolls”), “Heathens” and “Purple Lamborghini” (from “Suicide Squad”), “Just Like Fire” (from “Alice Through the Looking Glass”), “Try Everything” (from “Zootopia”) and “The Veil” (from “Snowden”).

Collecting nods as best musical theater album were multiple Tony winner “Kinky Boots,” the Steve Martin-Edie Brickell collaboration “Bright Star,” revivals of “Fiddler on the Roof” and “The Color Purple” and pop singer Sara Bareilles’ “Waitress.”

The 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. James Corden will serve as the show’s host, which will be broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Prezzo

Michelle Yola has been making headlines for days now with her boyfriend Prezzo. She started off by saying that Prezzo had been cheating on her even producing screenshots of the conversation she had with the lady having a thing with Prezzo.

Later on she changed up her story claiming that they are still together and stronger than ever and that all.

The post read, “don’t believe everything my darlings, it’s only Instagram???????????? It’s crazy how ppl have opinions on relationships that doesn’t even concern them.”

However, the story seems to have taken a different turn and she now claims that she had nothing to do with that post.

She yet again took to social media to claim that Prezzo hacked her account and has been posting stuff without her consent.

She wrote, “thanks to my Google account finally i got a hold of my account back..@prezzo254 logged in n changed my passwords plus he deleted everything and posted his own bulshit but since he wanna go down that route with me i’ll sleep for now tomorrow am gonna put everything straight . 6 Ways to make your orgasm last for a full minute

coup11

Looking for ways to extend that good orgasmic feeling is probably going to be a long adventure. In this article Whitney C. Harris through Men’s health reviews how possible this is. In collaboration with Emily Nagoski Ph.D who is the author of “Come As You Are: The Surprising New Science That Will Transform Your sex Life”.

Studies have been done to find out how possible it is to extend the duration of the female orgasm from between 6 to 30 seconds to a full minute.

Here are a few steps that can help.

1. Imagine your bedroom as an hotel room

The reason for this is that you need the place to be a complete relaxation place, a place where you can lay back and relax. If you’ve got kids, it needs to be a place where the kids cannot disturb and try as much as possible to make it romantic. The atmosphere has to make good that you can focus your mind on the pleasure you’re about to have.

2. Sweet words galore

How you and your spouse feel goes a long to make the one full minute orgasm a reality, if you feel good about yourself, the sex will definitely feel good. If you feel self-conscious, it will sap you sex drive faster than one of the five worst sex positions. Insecurity distracts you and inhibits your pleasure, says Nagoski.

Compliment her as much as you can, make her feel hot, make her feel wanted.

3. Dirty Talk

This is one way to get the best out of your partner in bed, Find out what your partner likes to hear, and what words turn them in and use those to stimulate those parts of her in ways she hasn’t imagined.

4. Don’t rush foreplay

Foreplay can get a lady closer to orgasm than you. Being brought to the brink of orgasm repeatedly will cause your arousal to spread throughout your whole body—resulting in a bigger, longer climax when you finally peak, says Nagoski. If she likes oral sex, then you need to learn how to do that, also take cues from her and how best to pleasure her senses using your mouth and perhaps your fingers too. Most importantly, take your instructions from her.

5. Be prepared

Planning is vital to this plan, it’s not just to start it. Working multiple sex acts into one session can help prolong your orgasm because the variation creates more tension and arousal, says Van Kirk. Cover your basis for foreplay and sex itself.

6. Let him back off a little

When some women are on the brink of orgasm, their clitorises become very sensitive. If that’s the case, asking him to stimulate you more gently may help you maintain your climax for longer, says Van Kirk.

You might need him to back off a bit when your orgasm is very close depending on you as a lady. Also consider inviting him to use his fingers or tongue or even vibrator over the clitoris.

7 Things guys do not like about missionary

$
0
0

casual sex

It might be the oldest and most popular sex position in the world, but there are several things that guys hate about the missionary sex position.

It’s an awful position and here are the reasons why:

1. The guy is doing all the work

I don’t mean to sound like a lazy man but when the guy is doing all the work, and you’re just there receiving without a bother in the world. It can be super annoying.

2. It’s elementary stuff

It’s learner stuff, introductory stuff. It’s like when you learn how to drive and you’re asked to stay in gear 1. It’s great for learning but you want to go to gear 4, see how fast this beast runs. Same thing for sex, missionary isn’t tricky, it’s a safe position, and even worse, it’s probably your parent’s sex position. Ewwwww.

3. Nothing to see

Not totally, you’re stuck with your face on the side of her neck except you have impressive biceps where you can lift your body off hers. For the sensual moments, it can be good, for other times, it sometimes can be quite uncool just staring at her, especially if you’re having sex with her for the first time.

4. Staring into her eyes

This might be cool on one hand while on the other, it isn’t so, and here is the kicker, because you might be doing some motion with your waist, you might need to ventilate with your nose and maybe with your mouth as well. For instance, if you’ve had food with garlic or any other meal that can make your breath stinky. It can be an awful experience.

5. Chances of you blowing up his ear drums

Just remember when we highlighted that he could have his face buried beside your face. Let’s say that scenario and your partner is a screamer, asides from disturbing the neighbors with the loud sex noises, you can also suffer from her screams potentially giving you an ear problem.

6. Not good for a big guy.

This position has the lady below, if the guy is husky, it might spell bad for him. He might think he is crushing her underneath him, and if he’s a sweaty person too, the combination of both is disgusting. You see why this is a bad idea now right?

7. It’s uninteresting

There isn’t any interesting about this position where you both are lying down compared with Doggy where he can be behind you and admire your small waist, your big bum and your bum cushions the effect of his waist hitting into yours, the imagination can be limitless depending on how creative you and your partner can get with sex other than the missionary position.

15 Ways to Get an Old Love Out of Your Head

woman sad

When a relationship comes to an end, the process of healing and moving on hopefully begins. The person you’re trying to let go of may be a recent part of your love life or an old flame. Now comes the task of wiping the slate clean, so you’ll be ready when a new partner enters your life.

Here are 15 practices that will help you leave the past behind:

1. Keep a realistic perspective of the person. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, and every relationship has good and bad times. Acknowledging both assures you that your old love was not, in fact, ideal.

2. Clean your emotional house. Honestly inventory the strong feelings left over–pain, anger, regret–and then take time to heal. Proven techniques for doing that abound. Find the ones that make sense to you and get to work.

3. Clean your physical house. You might still have reminders of the relationship you’re trying to leave behind — photographs, mementos, and letters. Boxing them up can have a cleansing effect, a signal to your subconscious mind that a new beginning is underway.

4. Burn the bridge completely. If you know the relationship with your ex is truly over, then there’s nothing to gain from trying to be “just friends” or other variations. The best break is a clean break.

5. Watch your language. Meaning, watch how much you talk about your old relationship. The more your ex’s name comes out of your mouth, the more that person stays in your thoughts.

6. Close anything left open-ended. Whether they left your life weeks ago or years ago, you might have things you still need to say, amends you need to make, items you should have returned, or feelings you want to convey. Bring closure by taking care of what you need to.

7. Turn off the instant replay. Your mind can get stuck reliving the past, either adding fuel to your smoldering anger or romanticizing your memories. Either way, remember that you have sole possession of the remote control and can choose to direct your thoughts elsewhere.

8. Get involved in new activities. The process of leaving an old love behind is helped greatly by finding new pursuits that bring you joy, especially those that connect you with interesting people.

9. Resist the urge to follow the person via social media. Yes, of course you want to know what they’re up to! But if you really want to get that person out of your head, don’t fill it with current images and updates.

10. Tighten your ship. Let the breakup be an opportunity for honest self-assessment — so you’re that much better prepared for your next relationship. Are you a little too controlling? Argumentative? Clingy? Now’s the time to deal with it.

11. Forgive your ex. Holding a grudge ties you to the past, keeping you psychologically connected to the person and experiences you are trying to put behind you. Let it go — and set yourself free.

12. Forgive yourself. It’s just as likely you’ve said and done things yourself along the way you are not proud of — and equally important to put them behind you.

13. Practice gratitude. One time-honored way to move on from the past is to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Like magic, the words “I am thankful for …” will empower you to step forward.

14. Activate your support group. Enlist trusted friends and family to your cause, people who will inspire excitement about the future.

15. Expect new love to appear at any moment. Looking ahead with anticipation will help you stop looking back with longing. Romance can appear anywhere, anytime. Your job is to be fresh and ready when it does — not stuck in the past.

Top 5 Excuses for Being Too Busy to Date

couple date

There’s no question that there are some circumstances in life that make a person too busy to have the time to date. For example, being a single parent with two jobs can make dating difficult or even impossible. There are also times when a person is working full-time and attending school, and these circumstances can make it hard for a person to squeeze in the kind of free time you need to invest in a new relationship. But let’s be honest — many of us use or have used the excuse that we are too busy to date when what we’re actually doing is trying to avoid dating. I have highlighted some of the most common excuses people tell themselves about why they’re too busy to date. If you are using one of these excuses now, ask yourself a very basic question: Why am I postponing finding someone with whom I can have a real emotional connection?

“I work too much.”

If you’re using this excuse, let’s get specific. How many hours each week are you working? Forty or sixty? Seventy or eighty? If you are working seventy hours per week or more, you probably are working too much to date. The reason why you can’t work that much and also have a good and balanced dating life is because your mind and body are likely too drained to give much to anyone new. At the same time, you should understand that working these kinds of hours should only be a temporary situation. Working extremely long hours for years on end may deliver you to the ER with a coronary, so make sure you control those hours so that working like a dog doesn’t hurt or jeopardize your physical or mental health.

“I live in the middle of nowhere, and I don’t have time to drive back and forth to date someone.”

Geography matters in dating, so I understand the root of this complaint. It may be true that you don’t have the time to “commute to a date” six or seven nights per week, but what about once per week on the weekend? If you’re dating someone, I don’t believe that you should start seeing someone every single day from the get-go, so doing your dating on one weekend day can ensure that you don’t move too fast.

“It feels like a part-time job to constantly check my emails from my online dating profile, and I don’t have time to deal with that because my job is so demanding.”

It’s true that managing communications with online dating can sometimes feel like a lot, so come up with a couple days each week when you will message people and when you will review your messages from others. For example, check your mail on Wednesdays and Saturdays so that you don’t feel like you’re developing an OCD-like checking compulsion!

“I already spend my little bit of free time with my best friends, so dating would mean that I wouldn’t have time to see them anymore.”

When you start dating someone new, you experience a sort of transition period in your social life. For a while, you may spend more time with the new date and less time with some of the people you socialized with before you met someone. Remember, however, that the honeymoon phase of dating doesn’t last forever, and things balance themselves out in your social life after a while. Once you know your date a little better, you can start hanging out with your date and friends together. I strongly advise against people postponing a romantic relationship to stay close to their friends because, sooner or later, most people end up spending most of their time with their romantic partner as opposed to their group of friends.

“I don’t have time to date because I have a kid.”

If you have a couple of kids and work full-time, dating is really, really hard. Even then, you can do it if you have resources to help: extended family to help or money to pay for babysitters. If you only have one child, you can find time to date but you need to be more creative to make it work. You can ask friends or others you know and trust to help cover some of the childcare when you’re not working and your child is not in school. Dating doesn’t necessarily mean being gone all weekend; it can mean being gone for an hour and half to have a nice dinner. Many times, people with kids use this “I’m too busy excuse” to mask the larger fear: that no one is going to want to date them because they have a kid. Trust me when I say that there are plenty of men and women who would be fine with dating someone who has a child already.

Bottom line: Unless you are so busy that you really only have time to work and sleep, you can probably come up with an hour or two each week to invest in dating. My hope is that you give yourself the chance to date because finding someone good can be one of the most comforting things in your entire life, and you deserve it!

Young Thug

Young Thug gave two female Alaska Airlines employees the business for trying to make him miss his flight and his show … at least that’s the way he saw it.

The rapper went in on the women pretty hard — calling them “peasants” and “ants” with “nappy” hair. You can tell they’re pissed as he tried to offer them $15k to quit their jobs.

A rep for the airline tells TMZ … Thug was supposed to be on a flight from ATL to Seattle, but he arrived after their 45 minute cutoff period. We’re told they still offered him a seat on a partner flight, but he declined.
